The Raventail Splitboard 160
PLP Custom Snowboards was born with the goal of creating unique boards using the highest quality materials. With its outstanding float, this splitboard (the sister of the solid model) doesn’t fall short, featuring an innovative tail never seen before in the snowboarding world.
The Raventail Splitboard 160 is a board specifically for epic conditions, when the powdery snow is at least knee-deep. Crafted by the artisanal manufacturer from Piedmont using highly precise computerized procedures. Its unique shape with a long and progressive nose rocker and balanced setback allow for perfect floatability in deep snow and the“Raventail” with its shape makes for great directionality and control. If we add to this the finish and construction that come from extensive craftsmanship, this board takes off and finds its ideal kingdom in freeride. The only drawback is that its shapes and weights don’t make it suitable for big drops or technical traverses, but who cares…Powder day, let’s go!
