A perfect all-mountain snowboard, with a twin tip shape that allows you to ride it like a twin tip, but with the float of a directional board, thanks to the extended nose.
We present a TwinTip splitboard designed for demanding riders, featuring responsive pop, a semi-stiff flex, and an optimal length to tackle any snow condition and slope. The design comes from our tester, Luca “Pine,” who after an exciting season using the solid Kinky, suggested developing a splitboard with similar features.
So, we kicked off the project.
On the way up, the board stands out for its maneuverability in tight turns, thanks to its compact dimensions (length 156 – width 260). The classic camber, semi-stiff flex, and twin tip shape make it easy to tackle technical sections. On the way down, the board delivers an incredibly fun ride—pure freestyle in freeride—while keeping our performance goals high. The reduced sidecut radius allows for great carving in open fields, but combined with its explosive pop and compact size, it enables tight turns and quick edge changes. The twin tip base shape allows for switch maneuvers, perfect for those who don’t want to miss out on freestyle outside of parks or in extreme situations where changing direction is often necessary, proving to be a powerful choice for demanding riders.
On fresh snow, the board reacts really well and, thanks to its definitely responsive pop, ensures easy floatation, making it ideal for those who want to push to the max. The medium-stiff flex is perfect for those looking for aerials in any situation but who also don’t want to compromise on speed and control.
For those who love to express their style while snowboarding, the Kinky splitboard is a versatile choice, great for both hardpack and powder, perfect for freestyle and technical runs. Equipped with Spark R&D’s Fixie Clips system, this splitboard keeps a solid connection with no slack, ensuring optimal performance in any situation.
